Dry fire systems use pressurised air or chemicals to supress a fire as opposed to water. Dry fire systems are connected to a fire indicator panel which constantly monitors the air and temperature in a particular area, alerting occupants and the fire brigade in the case of a fire. Dry fire systems are implemented in spaces where freezing is possible or in sensitive areas such as data centres or a building that houses important or historic documents.
